Types of Concrete

Our concrete plants are equipped with modern and high-performance installations, designed to ensure a constant, efficient, and high-quality production. The entire manufacturing process is automated and rigorously monitored, complying with all current European standards, as well as applicable national technical regulations.

Concrete

(concrete manufactured according to NE012/1 and SR EN 206)

The most commonly used type of concrete, prepared with cement, water, aggregates, and additives.

Applications:

  • Foundations, walls, columns, slabs, and beams;
  • Civil, industrial, and utility structures;
  • Casting in traditional formwork or prefabricated systems.

Main technical characteristics:

  • Strength classes: C8/10; C12/15; C16/20; C20/25; C25/30; C30/37; C35/45; C40/50; C50/60
  • Consistency: S2÷S4
  • Cement type: CEM II/A, CEM I, CEM III (depending on requirements)
  • Maximum aggregate size: Ø 8 mm ÷ Ø 31.5 mm

Concrete Pavement

(concrete manufactured according to NE014) → Durability and Performance in Modern Infrastructure

Pavement concrete is the ideal solution for the construction and rehabilitation of roads, highways, airport runways, and industrial platforms subjected to heavy traffic and intense mechanical stresses.

Produced in compliance with NE 014 standards, pavement concrete offers high resistance to wear, freeze-thaw cycles, and chemical attacks, ensuring an extended lifespan for any infrastructure project.

Main technical characteristics:

  • Common classes: BcR 3,5; BcR 4,0; BcR 4,5; BcR 5.0;
  • Consistency: S1÷S2;
  • Cement type: CEM I 42.5R or CEM II/A
  • Maximum aggregate size: Ø 22.4 mm; Ø 31.5 mm (depending on technical project specifications)
  • Application method: fixed or slip formwork

Special Concrete

(concrete manufactured according to NE012/1 and SR EN 206)

Special concrete is designed for specific technical applications or extreme operating conditions. By using cement, additives, fibers, pigments, etc., customized properties are achieved, tailored to the intended uses.
  • Rapid-setting concrete – ideal for quick interventions;
  • Waterproof concrete – used in basements, reservoirs, tunnels, or areas with infiltration;
  • Hydrotechnical concrete – used in hydraulic constructions: dams and protective dikes; basins and reservoirs for drinking or industrial water; irrigation and drainage channels; port and maritime infrastructure; treatment plants and sewer systems, etc.;
  • Concrete with special additives – for resistance to extreme temperatures or aggressive environments;
  • Fiber-reinforced concrete – recommended uses: industrial flooring, etc.;
  • Decorative concrete – recommended uses: walkways, sidewalks, urban landscaping.

Natural aggregates stabilized with cement

(manufactured in accordance with STAS 10473/1-87)

Natural aggregates stabilized with cement are a granular material obtained by mixing natural aggregates with a controlled amount of cement, according to the standard STAS 10473/1-87.

This mixture serves to provide a stable material with improved mechanical strength and durability, used as base layers for roads, industrial platforms, and other engineering structures.

  • Common classes: BSC 3%; BSC 4%; BSC 5%; BSC 5%.
